Soo..yesterday was GL training~

RAWR!! Anyways GL training yesterday was FUN!

We did a slow jog campus run ONLY~

At first it wasn't tiring~

until my left lower leg muscle started to feel the burn..

GRR! And i have tkd mock grading today~

GLs rather pooped from the jog~

Been 1 week in NP ler. And I can tell you guys this thing. Its NOT SO EASY!
I'm actually afraid whether I can pass the modules, its damn hard! Especially for LSCT Students must like friggin' walk around the whole campus to attend our lessons.
Not to mention Ngee Ann is a god damn hill. =_= Lugging your laptop and hiking the hill up and down.

Heh, pretty well done performance I shall say. The military band, chinese orchestra and East View's cultural dance group peformed so as to breed these new Stars as they said it.

So band has the longest screen time wow. They played like 10 songs? Lov' it when they played Kopi' O. =P And C.O. playing Shang Hai Tan. "Long ban! Long lau!..". Sorry for the lack of pictures.=P Any pictures can kope at Jon's blog. Well worth $12 dollars I paid. After the show, chatted with my previous teachers. Ms Santha, Mrs Mani and Mr Foo. Damn! Ngee Ann Visit

Wee.. So me and lex went to NP yesterday to check out the laptop exhibition!

BUT!

Before that must do our regular gym mahx~! So he specially come down to Tampines to pei wo lei! =P Worked out for about like 3 hours+? Pushing myself, so friggin' dead tired. Then went along to get our lunch like duh? By the way lex was late. =P

So ate lunch together at S11 then take mrt to Clementi. At the station, both of us was confused on how the eff do we go to NP? lawl! Its not like SP you know, just at your doorstep. So have to ask the officer in the Control Station. =.=

Then when actually taking the bus, we see a campus like building so we alighted. And guess what is it? SIM. Zzz.. Cuz' SIM is next to NP! GREAT! Walk then! Finally there cuz' it was raining, we went through an underpass with a security guard like guarding there. Although it was only a drizzle, underpasses usually take you to great places, like the Raffles Link to Suntec. Who knows we came out of the end of Underpass just across the road. =__= Like we cannot bear the rain abit liddat. Darryl can't! =P

SO! Checked out the laptops available at the exhibition. In the end went for Acer instead of Fujitsu. I feel so bad! Betraying the Japanese. =P Acer's laptop they selling was really more specification better, design superior and price cheaper. SOOOoo... I jump boat. =P

Well its was actually Monday's news, I didn't have time to blog it but here it is.

So I went to gym during Mondays, ok larh. =P And then wanted to go check out if the stalls DO have Soulstorm yet! So I left kinda early around 12+ to eat lunch then head to comics. But the what surprises me is. Why the hell is there so many sec school students! All PONTENG?! == GAH embarassment!! The clothes I wear to gym are pathetic. =P ANYWAYS!! (Diverting attention from my lack of fashion sense) SO, I went to Comics Connection and Mega Multimedia to check out if theres Soulstorm and FcuK it! THERE IS NO SOUL STORM! Its suppose to be release at 4 March and its still out on shelves yet?!

BAH! Anyways thats not the point in the post. =P When I'm leaving around 1pm, at the top floor of Century Square. Guess who I saw.. =P Mr Yong and Mr Goh! And the next question I thought. IT Fair

Gah its the last day of the IT Fair. Well I didn't really went today but rather on the 2nd day. But its really kind of boring honestly, well I expected more Computer games being presented. Especially Dawn of War: SoulStorm! Well as I said today is the lastday.

Competition was definitely was really hard from the different companies. Presenting their latest hardware, monitors and PCs available. Of course I would go around checking out their laptop prices going to Poly and everything. The fair was really bigger than I expected. Whole Convention Centre well DUH! And there is game preview section where we can play some games esp. Xbox 360 games. =D

Tried BioShock, about me being so hyped about it for like 2 weeks? Was like totally bullshit found that I really can't take it.. Yess.. I really nonsencial, the game is like more a thriller movie more scary than watching a friggin' movie. My Halo senses doesn't allow me to play it. Everytime there is a squeek, I'll turn and see behind me just in case some bitch monkey backstabbing me. But in BioShock theres friggin' sounds playing all the time until I can lose my sense of direction. GAH!

For "dinner", Shaun forbids me for eating the Japanese Crusine. Fucker! They got Katsu Chicken Curry Rice! OMG the curry rice is gonna haunt me for like 2 weeks?! =_= Ended up eating Wanton Mee at the same foodcourt. BAH!

Thoughts: Don't go the IT Fair if you don't intend too buy anything. Cause pretty much its a waste of time, with little or no games' preview. For people who do intend to buy a monitor, a new PC, prepare to surf the 4 floors just to check out the average prices and spendig about 2~3 hours? THEN! Settling with a product.

Tip of the day: Come prepared and intention of what you want to buy. =))

Went out with lex. Ate lunch at Cineleisure, so superficial. =D Foodcourt! HAHA! The Japanese Crusine is disappointing once again. LOL! The Teriyaki Chicken Don is PATHETIC! The one at Meridian Sakae was 10x bigger and better, the chicken was bigger! The one there are like the Chao Shao meat! PUNY! Next time we eat yoshinoya! =__= YOSH!!

So then we went to the Heeren and Taka. ARGH!! Found a jeans damn nice. Copper series, cuting also very nice.. Everything nice larh! ^^ Price tag also nice.. xD 500+ stinking bucks.. OUCH! This is the type of clothes you don't even need to try. I doubt you dare to try either.. =__=

Argh although I did eat what I always like to eat, Auntie Aunt's pretzels! MUAHAH!! Where are you Jeevan! The exhibition place is now a Baby Fair. =__= No Americaya!! Hais, in the end didn't bought anything. ANYONE WANT TO GO SHOPPING MUST CALL ME HORX! =P

New Games Tryouts

Ok, maybe not all that new. Well its best to try the game out at some people's actual house. =D So Shaun has Lost Odyssey and Jon has Devil May Cry 4. And I would say its pretty enjoyable.

LO being all I have lived for 1000 years and all. You play as an immortal trying to regain your memeories and probably later in the game save the world and blah blah blah. Quite typical of a RPG. What is interesting and unqiue in terms of RPG, I mean which RPG have an actual sprint button! xD I mean common getting backstab often in field maps are irritating now they have sprinting, now thats a different question. Map to map transition is efficient and quick. Also there is an ability to pause Cut Scenes. Yesh! Finally they have consideration. E.G.: If someone has something urgent! Naturally he would wait and control until the cut scene is over. But that is undesirable! So now.. You can skip and pause Cut Scenes! Cool! Well want to know more about the game? Go get it yourself! =P

Now.. its DMC4. Well ok quite a typical Hack n' Slash genre. I don't think its much unqiue in the system and gameplay it uses. But it is kind of fun where it incoperates puzzles into the game. Hacking demons away to unlock doors and killing bad ass boss. 1 such example is the lovely first boss, Berival. Well its like your typical fire demon etc etc. Its looks so bad ass that I almost thought that I would lose even before I started. Simply, you get orbs or Proud Souls as they call it and you can buy more combos and kick your ass. I really enjoy how the game urges you to do more combos and magnificent stuns and combinations to gain more points and kill with style I say? Practically, they way you kill your enemies are graded. =D So essentially don't think you can beat the stronger and tougher mobs AND Bosses unless you do some fancy stunts.

Well since both Shaun and Jon has DMC4 and LO. What should I get? Probably, Star Wars: Force Unleashed? ONLY if it has an multiplayer function. SUGGESTION PEOPLE would do lovely! For now Guitar Hero III is all over my mind. =D

After some good DMC4 slashing, there is nothing like paying your insurance in case of a demon invasion.

Of course! Meals are important too. Mee-pok is a good nutritional meal for hard time 360 gamers. xD

This is kind of a reflection of the purpose I started blogging. Well actually its suppose to be about anime and japanese culture. Hey at least I have a few posts on that. But ever since ODEX eff us up, I can't produce screenshots. Soo yea that sucks, hey but I still post Japanese culture events. Although I didn't attend much expect Cosplay events, cuz there nothing but cosplay in Singapore about Jap C.

The blog then has a new purpose, for my weekly rants. Why weekly, cuz' the time I started this was in my 'O's year so.. BUSY. Another reason is to improve my standard of english, upon looking at Clarissa's blog, I'm utterly disgusted at my horendous vocabulary. Even Sochii has better standard of english. =D However my English did improve at least.. =/

Its a celebrations cum window shopping spree. Hahas..

Ok it goes like this going back to MJ for CNY celebrations, we had a lion dance from NUS. Now don't think everything that is local = shit. lols.. They were pretty good.. kudos to the guy playing the lions back role.

THEN.. Actually there was plan to seperate some classes to the LT and some to hall for the shows. But Live Streaming, to the LT, is always very unreliable. So they decided to squeeze J1s and J2s into the Hall. There was still quite amount of room, no problem.

Now the performances start and celebrations, performance and skits from various different CCAs; Chinese Orchestra, Cultural Dance Groups, Wushu and many more, not to mention Taekwondo!! =D There were also House performances! I only took videos of Callisto Fashion show and TKD's skit. =D Something that is related to me mahx..

The Return

Pointless to say much right now. Cuz' my still kinda depressed from the results. I have failed once again to failed to defend her from his sorrow she suffered 4 years ago. PSLE 199 is seriously shitty. I can still remembered that day I cried through the whole afternoon. And once again I allowed history to repeat itself. My source of my determination and power is from my parents, the more I see them suffer. The more I strive to work hard. My past is a another sad story.

So this is what happend, after receiving a farewells from the Meridian Seniors. We head back to our secondary school to collect our results. But I meet Shaun and Jon at Shaun's house to slack before we go together. After we reach outside the school's gate, the security guard allows Jon to enter to pay his school fees. Suprisingly, his name was pasted all over. 9 points. Wow top 4 students. Good for him I admit, I'm jealous.

Not long we knew our results, I expected mine not far from Jon. But who knows me and Si Qi are on the same boat, we scored the same and far from Jon. This is definitely the 3rd shocking thing I experience in my life. First was the death of my grandmother and my PSLE. Immediately, I knew my mother won't be impressed. This fear gripped me once again, unable to please my mother. Thats my worst fear.

For once me and Qi was left helpless and little choice to choose. Hope you feel better now Qi. But I've still try to go for MJC. I empathize Hairi, you were so close to reunitie with your MJ's friends. And right now I really want to too. All I can do is pray.

I still can't believe the effort and time I spend studying during that fucking period, is a total waste of time. How much can hardwork bring you too and the passion of a subject? Attitude? That is half correct too without a positive attitude, I would not have passed through so many challenges in my life. But to my mother once its not what she expects, theres no point explaining what went wrong! The more I achieve, the higher her expectations. This is bad when it hits me back when I'm unable to meet her expectations.

Neverless, I would like to thank the teachers and friends.

The Time Is Approaching!

Well, I have not blogged for so long. Sorry people out there.. xD After not blogging for SOOOooo... LONG! It's almost already time for *dum dum dum* RESULTS! I bet everyone now has got to be nervous, yea.. Me too.. ^^ Hope everyone had enjoyed their holiday at least, be it you were in a JC during PAE or working. I believed everyone indeed enjoyed themselves, and lets hope when Thursday theres not regrets after receiving that result.

Well so much for the mushy talk, its almost impossible not to have regrets. ANYWAYS! Be it Poly or JC, just do what you like and learn from your lessons. Can't wait for Thursday, hoping for a big gathering for lunch before we go to collect our results.

Something like the Last Supper. xD What is truly saddening is that I'm parting with my close sencondary school friends. And most of them are detered from going to JC, which I so happens to most likely go to. GAH!

Not to mention my friends that I made during JC! Very precious moments we shared was very enjoyable. Parting(Maybe) with you guys are tough too.. >.<

For now I'm really clueless on what to do next. Guess try to accomplish as much as I could in MJC. For now I'm luvin' Taekwondo!! ^^ Excited to see Mr. Ee speech again, pleasure to my ears.. xD

Meridian Experience!

Well its been a week in Meridian and all I can say that I'm enjoying it. At least thats for the orientation! LOL Day 1, which was wednesday 2 Jan, we already started activites such as Ice Breakers and cheers! My House was CALLISTO!! SWOOSHH!! A Blue Eagle. YES!

There are other houses such as Atlas, Triton, Phobos, Miranda. Day1 have quite a number of people enthusiastic already. We have Mass Dances such as this one.

Of course thats not it!

Imagine that cute Chinese girl from the video dancing in front of you. I literally got confused between right and left since its suppose to be mirror image. xD Zuhairi I proof!

Practically we did alot of fun stuff and very tiring. And I thought that was tiring until I found out Day2. We got MMM, Magnificent Meridian Marathon. Its similar to the Amazing Race.We went to Toa Payoh, Bugis and Tampines for the Stations. Approximately, 4 stations in each Zone.

My OG was Callisto V!!! WoooWhooo!! We completed 11 stations and raced to the "HQ" which was MJC! In the last leg we was up against Altas 5 from the same MRT Train! So its literally a race to the finishing line, or the nearest bustop. xD We were nearly the first but 1 of our OGM was injured at the start. So she can't run, too bad we have to settle for 2nd place! xD

Day3 we had Wet n Wild. YES! We are really getting wet and have to bathe in school!! WOW!!! When I say Wet n Wild I don't mean like those sissy getting wet.. YOU LITERALLY PLAY WITH WATER AND GET MESSY! Some of the activities we must do is like have to sit on chairs with water mixed with ketchup and raw eggs and flour! HAHA!! And people with hoses can just spray you with water and Water bombs flying everywhere! YOU GET SOAKED DOWN TO THE BOXERS! HAHAs..

Later that day we had campfire, but due to rain. We changed it to a finale in the hall but the theme remained unchanged! Which was Meridian Metamorphosis. Something like Zhao Zi Bian Bian Bian! VERY FUN! Not to mention the hall was air conditioned the whole time and we had buckets to make noise! Some OGL even hit the buckets so HARD, that the bottom broke open!

Our House Leader, Kelvin damn funny guy! Lets scare the birds outta em'!

Although Callisto didin't won the Overall House scoring, Callisto is known to the easy-going house. Not so hell bend on winning!

Bah! As you guys would have already known, I'm fucking going to Meridian for my 1st month. Attended the orientation on 27 Dec and MAN was it BORING. At least I met up with Zul and we headed in the school together. Well, thats what I believed as the only 2 East View students here.

NOT! Only until when we attended the lecture by NUS, we saw XueEr and SinEe. Heh Zul complainted as their presence here make him look stupid. NOO!! You're WRONG! Their presence here make you look smart! And your presence here make them looks stupid! Ahh.. that should be correct.

Since Zul got in here through DSA and has no A.maths he have to attend a course couselling and I seriously felt that the teacher forced Zul into the course. Haiz.. Poor Zul. =/

Just for Laughs. No offence Zul. xD You allowed me to take.

Well inside Meridian, they even have a Sakae Sushii SHOP in their canteen. Like.. what the fuck man?! Whoopee so we gonna eat sushii more often now? And their field is CARPET GRASS! Zul was totally surprise like ZOMG?! I mean if you were to slide and feel no pain from the carpet grass. Luxury in their school. LOL

Their Lecture Theatre (YES! They call it LT) is huge man! Its like having 2 AVT from East View in 1 LT! AND they have 6 LT! (I think is 6 no less) 2 more things to rant about is the presence of vending machines! My god! Theres even a Expresso Machine! What Coffee now?! And theres even a machine that vends MaMee Monster! YESSS!!

Lastly its the toilet! I mean the toilet is seriously shrinked. Believe me! East View's toilets are larger than Meridian's! I was like shocked?! East View was better?! I can't stress the importance of having proper santiation and restroom facilites presence in a compound! I mean if you want to shit, you need to shit in peace! They only have 3 cubicles for the piss hole and 2 cubicles for the loo hole. Ok that may sound wrong but you understand.

Well we went to eat Mac at Tampines after going to Meridian. Actually they want to play soccer but most of the guys are not free. So Zul went my house to do his Course Registration online and play some XBOX! Yippie! Started off with Gears of War! And Zul is totally engross and love this game. We played Halo 3 next but because the difficulty is sooo high it switches him off. LOL! Psstt.. Legendary mode.

Well 2 Jan need to return to Meridian and continue orientation and have to suffer in there for another 1 months + ? Hope I can learn even more about this Universe and the World. ^^ Yea I'm hungry for knowledge. As crazy it may seems I hate going to school but I'm hungry for knowledge. Learning is Fun, Studying Sucks!

Didn't do much during the past 9 days I never post.. =__= Expect for a extreme boredom overcoming me and the intensive gaming of MAPLE! Yep you heard me, MapleStory. The game a tried so hard to condemn and I'm playing it. Why? HGL seriously have poor servers or their computer specifications is too high, hardly anyone other than Ruwan and I plays it; poor population. AND Ruwan NEVERS WANT TO PARTY! *dots*

We went to Joel's house later to play games. And I can tell you his is like a pet store, no offence intended, we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 snakes and 1 lizard. AND I most certainly believe I left out more!

Okkk.. I finally understand what Castillo meant as SHARP! This sword is SOOOooo amazing, the design and hilt. But it don't have an ecentric designs on the blade. What a downside. =/

Yep these 2 are playing Soul Caliber 3. =__= Joel using his custom made character, Zemiah, and Shaun is using Siegfried. Psstt.. Shaun is getting owned. =__=

Anyways these are the boring adventures in the past new days. EoY is drawing near and attempting to ask people to go le. ^^ But I must seriously check if there is an entrance fee. Ouch! 10 bucks. And I'm looking for a job, yea you heard me, A JOB! =__= Though like Jon said. Unlikely anyone would hire us as from 2nd Jan we have to report to our respective JC for the 1st one month, whereas those that want to go to poly have like another 7 months to go. East View 20th Anniversary Dinner

It achieved the same result as Jeremy went to the Linkin Park Concert, AWESOME! Well this was everyone big day, at leat what most people was waiting for. Wear your beautiful dresses and formal suits.

Well was deciding to make my hair at some salon for this SPECIAL day and I guess I should. (C'mon theres only one Graduation Party for Secondary School) So Jon and I went to Supercuts! xD And Visited Marcus. I want to praise him for a job well done, from now on I'll will regard them as Hair Stylist! Not Barbers.. LOL

After doing our hair, Jon and Shaun wants to get a tie!! oooo... They got one alright, awfully short ties that is.. LOL We went to wait for Shaun's Dad car to pick us up to the Location, The Pines. We have to wait quite away guess it was just a simple delay. On the way there, talk about traffic jams, =__= on our IMPORTANT day?

Upon arriving a lot of people was already there. Everyone was looking so smart and great! xD Entered the compound where the dinner was held and was amazing! LoL! Well everyone was busy taking photos with each other that is. I say Dinner was GOOD, not EXCELLENT. Worth the 50 bucks. xD

They have lucky draws and competitons on who will be Ms Sunshine, Ms Beautiful, Mr Charming, Mr Sporty and Ms/Mr Social Butterfly! But lucky draw prizes was amazing! They actually got a PSP and the Grand Lucky Draw Prize was a $400 Shopping Voucher! (I find the PSP better xD)

After dinner was, Party! aka Clubbing. =__= Everyone appears on drugs! xD Zulhairi was a god on the dance floor. xD Everyone dance! Even Jon, Shaun and LIM! After the dance everyone was sweating like mad dogs and totally exhausted. xD And finally everyone parted ways, some of the guys actually went to see movie! But I pass too tired. xD

HellGate: London Launch

Phew.. What a day! 31st Oct 2007, Halloween. I celebrated at the opening of Hellgate: London Launch. Lol.. Talk about demons.. Its another simulataneous launch event of a game I have attended.

The Event was nice the host was the same as Halo and the Singtel queue, was really long already when its only ard 11+. The game starts sales at 3pm man! I saw Nizam and also the hair spiky fella dude. Shaun should know, the only other guy at the Believer events.

We queued and took turns to make rounds around the event. But I didin't went to the basement. Ruwan left me at 1pm cuz he have to go to CL B listening.. oooo....

I have to queue by myself for 2 hours! Argh! I can't PISS! =_= Lols.. But its worth the waiting as I got a FREE TEMPLAR Figurine! Weeee.... thanks to Ruwan's singtel subscription. (don't take this serious!) xD

Well the battle still continues with O level and me..

Well its pretty rough for me during this week, kind of have a break down after the A.maths P2.

But what done is done, I have polish up my other subjects!

Chemistry was surprisingly hard but still managable, I MUST score full marks for the my MCQ. And I believe I definitely can!

Today had the Geography paper, and its was harliriously a killer, I got no idea. The paper was really tough but I didn't have any fear for my answers. It seems that the encouragement and consolement I received really helped. I wrote what I wrote and I BELIEVE ITS RIGHT!

2 more weeks and the MY FIGHT is over.. Lets pray hard that we can pull through the period.

I'm so pissed so yeah.. BUT I'm going to explain my misery..

Well the Halo event is incrediable, thanks for the sponsors for sponsoring such great events. The Queue for the redemption for the Collector's Edition is very orderly due to the strict and impartial Queue Marshalls. Good Job..

When I arrived around 11.20am the queue is already friggin' outside suntec and it stretches till very LONG!! Literally.. Had a good chat with a Uncle, very friendly ^^, about this event and stuff. He came here for collecting the game for his son. =P touchingg.. (ok fine! kinda..)

The some guy from Mediacorp Radio interviewed us. I told him i actually took Medical Leave to come to here.. xD He kept laughing as I continued..

Had lots of fun there, although didn't tired to play the game.. Spoilers keep reappearing in my mind. Lols.. Had pictures with The Flying Dutchman, Sgt. Johnson, MasterChief. Practiclly damn cool, at least the beginning.. =__=

Its a god damn insult to the person that actually cosplayed!! And beats the fucking effort to make the costume! The V.Hive Contest too.. If you breach the T&C you should not be even eligible to contest for the prize. And I bet that if Shaun were to write a Story that long he would have won..

Great, I collected my final piece of Believer Kit, the wristband. Man and the show at Suntec was boring. TM one was nicer and funnier.. xD But I still got the video.

Dressing up was kind of a problem.. =_=. I don't want to wear the same shirt when taking with MC. So I improvised with the White Collar Billabong shirt I hardly wore. =/

And this is what I ended up.. =__= okk.. need to go to shopping. Talked with Shaun about Chelsea and Taiwan & the United Nations stuff. I can tell that China is f**k. Now I hate it more! ^^

Haleloya, its finally over. Thank god. I could actually feel I'm losing myself during the last paper, Biology.

Hope I won't screw up my Biology paper, Miss Cheng! Spare mercy on my paper.. >.<

I felt that I did pretty well for the Prelims, less regrets than my MYE. And definitely less mistakes, so far 3 that I know of. Like every student demise, once an exam is over. Prepare for the next one!

I'll getting back to studying tomorrow (Friday) so as to do alot of catching up, as well as drilling the Manufacturing Industries into my Brain. I'll be skipping school on Tuesday, due to Halo 3 Launch. Hope Shaun could come along. And I'm definitely not studying on Saturday, as its the last Believer event and I believe I deserve a break.

After the Biology paper, as usual. Students cluster together and guess the answer. But I hate it, the more you know, the more you know what mistakes you made. Especially Jon, but cheer up dude, if you got any Questions can ask me. =/

I went with the Soccer boys to have a game. And YES I definitely going easy on me. xD But thanks for the opportunity, I had lots of fun.

I remembered yesterday, after I had the KFC. I'm starting to have the habit of returning the sauces back to the Fastfood Restaurant. This may be a meagre effort, but at least it reduces the demand for such sauces, especially for people like me don't like sauces. Hence reducing the amount of saunces made and reducing many Carbon Miles.
